આખી કથાનો સાર એકજ શબ્દમાં
પામી શકો તો પાર, એકજ શબ્દમાં

મુઠ્ઠી ઉઘાડો એટલી બસ વાર છે
બાકી બધું તૈયાર, એકજ શબ્દમાં

આખા મલકનું મૌન લઈને જોખજો
એથી ય બમણો ભાર એકજ શબ્દમાં

છે આ તરફ જો જિંદગી, ત્યાં મોત છે
પણ બેયનોં આધાર એકજ શબ્દમાં

આ શ્વાસ તો હોવાપણાની છે અરજ
સ્વીકાર-અસ્વીકાર એકજ શબ્દમાં

છે શબ્દ તો સાતેય દરિયાથી ગહન
ઉંડાણ અપરંપાર એકજ શબ્દમાં !!!

તારા દર્શન કેમ થતા નથી??

તારા દર્શન કેમ થતા નથી?

મારા પર ઉપકાર કેમ થતો નથી?

કહ્યુ હેરાન હુ ~ તોપણ છુ તો તારો,

મારા પર વિશ્વાસ કેમ થતો નથી?

તારા ખોળામા હુ ચુપચાપ રડી લેત,

આવો એકવાર મોકો કેમ થતો નથી?

લાખો પાપી ને તાર્યા છે તે,

મારો ઉધ્ધાર કેમ થતો નથી?

તારી મહેરબાની ના ચાર શબ્દોથી,

આ દાસ સમીર હકદાર કેમ થતો નથી???

મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

આભાર મિત્રો,
છેલ્લા કેટલાય વખત થી હું અહી જાત જાત ના status પોસ્ટ કરતો રહ્યો છું. અને ઘણી વાર તેમાં એક યા બીજી રીતે અમુક વ્યક્તિઓની, વ્યક્તિઓના સમૂહ ની કે સંપ્રદાય ની લાગણી દુભાયી હશે. મેં પોસ્ટ કરેલા ફોટોગ્રાફ્સ થી પણ કદાચ કોઈને મેં હાની પહોચાડી હશે, કોઈના status પર કે ફોટોગ્રાફ પર હાની પહોચાડે તેવી કોમેન્ટ પણ કરી હશે. આ તમામ વખતે મેં મારા એગોઈસ્મ થી દોરાઈ ને તેમ કરેલું હતું તેવું મને ભાન થયું છે. હું આજે ફરીથી તે એક એક પ્રશંગોને યાદ કરીને, મારા આત્મા ની સાક્ષી એ હું તમામ વ્યક્તિઓની માફી માંગું છું. અને મારી એ ચેષ્ટાઓની આલોચના કરું છું. અને હવે પછી તે રીતની ચેષ્ટાઓ ફરીથી ના થાય તેની કાળજી રાખવાનો સનિષ્ઠ પ્રયત્ન કરીશ. તમેય મોટું મન રાખીને મને માફ કરી દેશો.

નેટ ને છોડીને મારી સાથે કરેલા મારા સહેવાસ, અને તે દરમ્યાન થોડીક પળોને પાછું વાળીને જોવાની મને એક તક મળી, આટ આટલી મુલાકાતો પછી પણ મારામાં રહેલો મહાવીર જાગતો નથી ? આરો ખરાબ નથી દરરોજ હજારો  મહાવીર  પેદા થયી સકે તેવું વાતાવરણ કુદરત સર્જે જ છે. પણ મારા એન્ટેના હું ક્યાંક બીજે ગોઠવીને બેઠો છું. :( 

આપ સૌ ખરેખર મોટા મનના છો, આ સમગ્ર વિશ્વ આપના જેવા મોટા મનના "માણશો" થી ભરપુર છે તેની પ્રતીતિ થયેલી. અને તેના તમો જીવતા જાગતા ઉદાહરણો છો, જે મારી ભૂલોને સાહજીકતાથી ક્ષમા બક્ષી સકે છે.

ફરી ઘેર ઘેર હું, કરું છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

હ્રદય પર હાથ મૂકી હું કહું છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

વલોવીને હ્રદયના, આ મનોમંથનનાં અંતે

વહાવી આંસુઓ હું ધરું છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

સમ્યકની ટેવ ક્યા હતી?, બસ ભૂલો કરી હતી

ઢંઢોળી "મને " જ હું કહું છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

શરીર નાં ખોખા વાસ્તે,કરી છે વાસના મેં બહુ

ઉતારી કાંચળી ને હું ઈચ્છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

જગતનો તાત જો તું છે, તો હું બાળ તારો છું

પડી ઘુટણએ હું ચાહું છું મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

ક્ષમાપના દિન એટલે શું ?

જન્મદિન હોય લગ્નદિન હોય પણ આ ક્ષમાપના દિન  એટલે શું ?

સામાન્ય રીતે ક્ષમા એટલે એક મન થી લીધે લો એક એવો નિર્ણય કે જેમાં જતું કરવાની સમપૂર્ણ  ભાવના હોય. અને વેર ભાવને ત્યાગીને જાગૃતિ સાથે સ્વીકારની સહભાવના અને જ્યાં આત્મા અને જ્ઞાન નું   તાદાત્મ્ય હોય. નકારત્મક ભાવ માંથી પોતાને  આઝાદી આપી જીવન માં આગળ  વધવાનો અવસર… માટે ક્ષમા એ વીરનું ભૂષણ કહ્યું છે. દરેક માનવીએ અવકાશ મળે તો  ક્ષમાપના માગી લેવી જેથી જીવન માં આગળ વધી શકાય ..

જૈન ધર્મમાં એ માટે ખાસ અવસર દીધો છે. સવંત્સરી પર્વ એનો અતિંમ દિવસ ક્ષમાપના દિન ઓળખાય છે. મન, વાણી અને હૃદયને શુદ્ધ કરી ક્ષમા માગવાનો અવસર…. પર્યુષણ મહાપર્વમાં સતત આધ્યાત્મિક સાધના આરાધના દ્વારા અંતઃ કરણની મલિનતાને દૂર કરવાની મુખ્યતા હોય છે. પર્યુષણ મહાપર્વનો દ્રશ્યમાન જગત સાથે સંબંધ હોવા છતાં પર્યુષણની સમગ્ર મહતા અંતજર્ગત સાથે છે….

મિચ્છામીદુક્કડમ કહેતા પહેલા એના અર્થને જાણવો ખુબ જરૂરી છે:

પર્યુષણ મહાપર્વનો  છેલ્લો દિવસ ~ ક્ષમાપના દિન

મન વાણીને કર્મના બંધન છોડી શુદ્ધ ભાવનાનો દિન

અંતરમનના કષાયો, મનમેલ ધોઈ સંવત્સરી ઉજવીએ

ભૂત ભાવી અને  વર્તમાનની કટુતા ધોઈ શુદ્ધ થઈએ

પરિવાર સગા સ્નેહીને ક્ષમા કરવાનો આ શુભ  દિન

ખમાવવાનું ઉત્તમ પર્વ, સંવત્સરી મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ

પરિવારમાં પ્રસરેલા કટુતાના નિવારણનો આ દિન

નવા વિચાર, વાણી ને વર્તનને સુધારવાનો  દિન

પાંચ મહાવ્રત લઇ ઉત્કર્ષને જીવનમાં અનેરું સ્થાન આપીએ

વહેલા સૂઈ અને વહેલા ઉઠો, જમવામાં અન્ન નવ છાન્ડીએ

પાણીનો દૂર્વ્યય ના કરીએ, સંગ્રહ વૃત્તિને છોડીએ

જરૂરિયાતમંદને મદદ કરવા પાંચ મહાવ્રત્ત લઈએ

શ્રી મહાવીરની ભાવનાઓને જીવનમાં ઉતારીએ

આપણુ જીવનધ્યેય બનાવી ૮૪ લાખ યોનિમાંથી ઉગરીએ

સત્ય, પ્રેમ, કરુણા ને  અહિંસાના મોક્ષ  માર્ગને અનુસરીએ

પર્યુષણ પર્વે, સંવત્સરી, મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ સૌને પાઠવીએ

તો ચાલો મારાવતી આપ સહુને

વિસ્તાર શબ્દનો

પામી શકો તો પામો આકાર શબ્દનો.
અવકાશથી વધુ છે વિસ્તાર શબ્દનો.

તરી શકું સમંદર એ શક્ય તો નહોતું.
મળ્યો મને પળેપળ આધાર શબ્દનો.

પળવારમાં એ રણમાં ઝરણ કરી શકે.
પ્રકાશથીય તેજ છે તોખાર શબ્દનો.

બોલી ઊઠી શકે છે આ શૂન્યતા હવે.
કરે છે કોઇ રણઝણ આ તાર શબ્દનો.

ધરીને ભેખ રોજે કરતો રહું સ્મરણ.
મળી જશે કદીતો સ્વીકાર શબ્દનો....

ક્ષમાપના ~ Forgiveness

This year many are celebrating Samvatsari on separate date & mine is due on 19.09.2012 but as this holy festival is round the corner, thoughts are just pouring in which I am just trying to jolt it down.

As humans we tend to have some or the other feel of grievances, hatred, enmity, jealousy etc towards others. Slowly & gradually this ill feelings give rise to feelings of revenge which ultimately is a destructive process & infact leads to nothing but imbalance of relations, mental strains, growth of hatred etc.

Hence we have been shown the path to FORGIVE so that we forgive others & ask for forgiveness from those people whom we have done wrong. Infact why asking forgiveness to just human's but to all living beings, each & every Jeev & thats why Shashtrakar's say:

SAVVASS  JIVRASHISS BHAVO DHAMNIHIAA NIA CHITTO
SAVVAM KHAMAVAITA KHAMEMI SAVVASS AHYAMPI

which means that we should truly ask forgiveness from all soul's with folded hands bowed head & getting "Dharm Bhaav" in our heart so that not a single soul is left. We all commit mistakes but very few ask for forgiveness but it is also clearly said "TO ERR IS HUMAN, BUT TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE".

But we should understand that just saying MICHCHHAMI DUKKADAM doesnt lead us anywhere if we dont wish to take this "dravya kshama" to the class of "bhaav kshama". Really I too do feel that asking for forgiveness can be done but really forgiving someone needs courage.

Infact it wont be wrong to say that FORGIVENESS (ક્ષમા) is sister of COMPASSION (કરુણા) & daughter of NON-VIOLENCE (અહિંસા) & thats why one who forgives is said to be courageous & a real hero by saying:

KSHAMA VIRASYA BHUSANAM,

KSHAMA TEJASVINAM GUN,

KSHAMA RUPAM TAPASVINAM

I would like to quote SHRUTKEVALI SHRI BHADRA BAHU's sayings:

JO UVASAMEI TASS ATTHI AARAHNA

JO NA UVASAMEI TASS NATTHI AARAHNA

TAMHA APPANA CHHEV UVVASMIYAVYAM

It means that without asking & giving forgiveness, no religious or spiritual studies/conducts etc can be said to be complete. One who wants to build the temple of Worship, shall have to bring Forgiveness in Foundation itself. One who gives & takes forgiveness doesnt fall anywhere but rises in conduct.

BUT IS ASKING FORGIVENESS COMPLETES THE TASK??

NO. While saying Michchhami Dukkadam, we all say "KHAMEMI SAVVE JIVA, SAVVE JIVA KHAMANTU ME, MITTI ME SAVVA BHUVESU, VERAM MAJJHAM NA KENAI" which means & adds that AFTER SEEKING & GRANTING FORGIVENESS, WE SHOULD BE FRIENDLY TOWARDS THEM TOO.

Hope the above brings a light to not just forgive & get forgiven but ALSO TO BUILD A HEALTHY BOND OF FRIENDSHIP leading to love peace & harmony.

MICHCHHAMI DUKKADAM if anyone is hurt cause of above & if anything is said against Jin Vaani & Jin Aagya.

જિવવા માટે પણ સમય નથી..

દરેક ખુશી છે અહિ લોકો પાસે
પણ હસવા માટે સમય નથી...
દિવસ-રાત દોડતી દુનિયા મા
જિંદગી માટે પણ સમય નથી...

મા ના હાલરડાં નો અહેસાસ છે
પણ મા ની મમતા માટે સમય નથી...
બધા સંબંધો તો મરી ગયા જાણે
પણ તેમને દફનાવવાનો સમય નથી...

બધા નામ મોબઈલ મા છે પણ
મિત્રતા માટે સમય નથી...
પારકા ઓ ની શું વાત કરવી
પોતાના માટે પણ સમય નથી...

આંખો મા છે ઊંઘ ઘણીયે
પણ સુવા મટે સમય નથી...
દિલ છે ગમો થી ભરેલું
પણ રોવા માટે સમય નથી...

પૈસા ની દોડ મા એવા દોડ્યા
કે થાકવા નો પણ સમય નથી...
પારકા અહેસાનો ની શુ કદર કરીએ
જ્યાં પોતાના સપના ની જ કદર નથી...

તુ જ કહે મને એ
શુ થશે આ જિંદગી નુ...
દરેક પળે મરવા વાળા ને
જિવવા માટે પણ સમય નથી..!!

માત્ર સંવેદના..

કાં લાગણી, કે વિરહ,કાં હોય છે વેદના,
મે તો ગઝલમાં મુકી છે. માત્ર સંવેદના.

થાતો નથી તે થકી ના હક ૫સ્તારવો મને,
જો કે હતાં તે સબંઘ ઉડી ગયેલ છેદના.

છોડી જરા જો, તું માયા આ દર્પણની ૫છી,
જાણી જશે ચેહરા છે કેટલા ભેદના.

આજે અહી આવ કાં પુછવા ખબર મુજ તણી,
તારી કને હોય છે કારણ ઘણા ખેદના.

છોડી શકો ના તમે રજડતી બઘે,
દિલને દુ:ખાવે ભલેને દિલ તણી વેદના.

આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો

જુઠી શાન ને મોભા ખાતર,
રીવાજોના બંધન ખાતર,
સમાજના દબાવ ખાતર,
મન માની એ કરાવી ગયો.

     કોણ કહે… એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

નારી વિકાસની વાતો કરતો,
સ્ત્રી ને ઘરની લક્ષ્મી ગણતો,
ટાણે પ્રસંગે સનમાન કરતો,
કુખે ખંજર ભોંકાવી ગયો.

      કોણ કહે …એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

વોટ લેવા તરકીબો રચી ને,
સેવક તણું મહોરું પહેરી ને,
વિકાસ કેરા વાયદા કરી ને,
દેશની દોલત લૂંટાવી ગયો.

      કોણ કહે… એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

મજહબી મુદ્દો આગળ ધરી,
ધરમને નામે જેહાદ કરી,
માણસ,માણસનો બની વેરી,
આંતકવાદ ફેલાવી ગયો.

      કોણ કહે… એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

સજ્જનતાનો ડહોળ કરીને,
કુટુંબ સંગાથે સુમેળ કરીને,
કુમળી વયનું નિકંદન કરીને,
માસુમિયત મુરઝાવી ગયો.

      કોણ કહે… એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

અંધશ્રધ્ધાનો લાભ ઉઠાવી,
ઈશ્વર ને પણ ખોટો ઠરાવી,
પોતાને એ સર્વોચ્ચ મનાવી,
અઢળક નાણા પડાવી ગયો.

      કોણ કહે… એ પરાયો હતો ,      આપણામાંનો માણસ હતો.

મિત્ર ! તું ભગવાનથી પણ ખાસ છે....

શ્વાસ કરતાં પણ વધુ વિશ્વાસ છે,

મિત્ર ! તું ભગવાનથી પણ ખાસ છે.

ઘા સમય જે રૂઝવી શક્તો નથી,
તું એ રૂઝવે છે, મને અહેસાસ છે.

કેવા ઝઘડા આપણે કરતા હતા,
યાદ કરવામાંય શો ઉલ્લાસ છે !

બાળપણની મામૂલી ઘટનાઓ, દોસ્ત !
આપણા જીવનનો સાચો ક્યાસ છે.

વીતી, વીતે , વીતશે તારા વગર
એ પળો જીવન નથી, ઉપહાસ છે.

હાસ્ય ભેગાં થઈ કરે છે જાગરણ,
તકલીફોના કાયમી ઉપવાસ છે.

એ ખભો નહિ હોય તો નહિ ચાલશે,
એ ખભો ક્યાં છે ? એ મારો શ્વાસ છે.

હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

તને ભીંજવીને કરે તરબતર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?
પડે તો ગજાથી વધુ માતબર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

સમયસારણીથી ઉનાળો પ્રજાળે, સ્મરણ રાત-દિ મન ચહે ત્યારે બાળે,
બધું ઠારી દઈને કરે બેઅસર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

મને સૂર્ય બાળે ને વાદળ બનાવે, પવન તારી શેરી સુધી લાવી ઠારે,
ટીપુ થઈ પલાળે તને, તારું ઘર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

કશુંક ક્યાંક કાયમ રહી જાય કોરું, ખૂણાખાંચરાઓ ચહે એક ફોરું,
પરંતુ કણેકણની રાખે ખબર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

સદાથી, કદીથી, અટલથી, યદિથી, મને ભીંજવે જે ક્ષણોથી, સદીથી,
વળોટી રહે કાળની સૌ સફર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ?

હવે એ પડે છે તો છત્રી બનીને યા ટોપી કે જેકેટ, ગમશુઝ બનીને,
પડે તો બધા આવરણની વગર જે હવે એવો વરસાદ પણ ક્યાં પડે છે ??

                                 સૂરજ ઢળતાં જ બદલાઈ જશે વાતાવરણ તુર્ત જ,
                                     જશે જ્યાં તું, વિકટ થઈ પડશે મારે શ્વાસ પણ તુર્ત જ;
                                         ભલે તું જાય છે પણ યાદ પરનો હક તો રહેવા દે,
                                            ‘સ્મરણ’ના ‘સ’ વિના તો થઈ જશે મારું ‘મરણ’ તુર્ત જ...

સમય નથી

આપણી વચ્ચે શું કોઈ વાત છે?

કાવ્ય ક્યાં છે ? આ તો મેં કરેલી જાત સાથે વાત છે:

આજનો અંધાર જો, રળિયાત છે !
આપણી વચ્ચે શું કોઈ વાત છે?

ક્યાં ગયો લય, જે હતો હર શબ્દમાં?
દિલમાં મારા એ જ ઉલ્કાપાત છે.

એ ધધખતું રણ લઈને આવશે,
એ સ્મરણ છે, એ જ એની જાત છે.

એટલું સહેલું નથી, જીવન તો એક
યુદ્ધ છે, ને એના કોઠા સાત છે.

કેમ તું ચર્ચાય છે, હોવાપણું?
તું નથી ને તોયે તું સાક્ષાત છે.

ક્યાં લગી એ પાળશે નિઃસ્તબ્ધતા ?
સમીરની તાસીર ઝંઝાવાત છે.

My Views ~ 2 at SMP

My Views on DISCUSSION 2: Discussion was that is it right to hold buffet system swami vatsalya cause of space crunch & large number of people to cater?? -Samir Doshi

I am completely against buffet system. If you call your son-in-law for lunch then you offer him food seating or standing? ofcourse seating. Whether you want your guests to have food themselves or you yourself shall go to them & asking them to have more? If you do these all for your relatives & guests... Serving a sadharmik is much more greater compared to all but you then think on numbers & space. Now restricting my comments to 1. Large Number of People Problem 2. Space Crunch & 3. Overall View:

1. Large Number of People: Who has said for doing swami vatsalya of large number? sadharmik bhakti of even 1 person but with complete BAHUMAN-AADAR-PREM is enough. Instead in buffet system is an insult to Sadharmik. Whenever we are doing Swami Vatsalya we should make them sit, do bahuman & then serve.

I have never heard that there is short number of Volunteers in Jainism, Just say you want & you shall see large people helping you in serving whatever number of people are there. But serving through Caterers is again an Insult. Even when there is marriage in you house & caterers look after dont we go & force some important people to have more. So we should keep our Jain Brothers for volunteering so that they take proper care of servings while in Swami Vatsalya.

TODAY IF PEOPLE MOVE & EAT or EAT STANDING, LEAVE RELIGION APART, DOCTORS EVEN DONT ADVISE THAT AS ITS NOT HEALTHY WAY OF EATING.

2. SPACE CRUNCH: I learnt from my mom that if we have a big heart than we can surely accomodate everything. Dont tell me that a person spending for Swami Vatsalya of say appx 2000 people cant spend somewhat more for a bigger space? OR cant we organise time slots so that all sit & eat?  Surely we can spend but then why find unnecessary faults instead we should be doing nothing against Prabhu Aagya. One of the Acharyashri used to say that we should be spending whatever required just to follow Jineshwar Aagya but never be doing anything against Jineshwar Aagya.

Spaces can be arranged or time slots can surely be done but we just want tweaks to make it fast but just think when you are spending so much why not to make it more proper by seating arrangements where people sit & have proper food. All studies shall say that people have proper & more food sitting than compared to standing.

3. Overall View: We jains are followers of sayings of Parmatma & so we can never have buffet swami vatsalya's. What's swami vatsalya when people have to go by themself to take the food?? YOU ARE DOING SWAMI VATSALYA NOT FEEDING BEGGARS. YOU REQUIRE SADHARMIK's... SADHARMIK's DONT NEED YOU as they could have well prepared their food as other days.

Knowledgeable people say that you might be following less religion, but whatever you follow do it correctly & in a correct manner. If you organising a Swami Vatsalya, follow its correct set of rules, make people sit, do their Bahuman by Prabhavna & then start Swami Vatsalya & volunteers go their to ask them for if they need anything more in food. 

WHATEVER WE DO SHOULD BE AS PER SAYINGS OF GOD & NOT AS PER OUR FACILITIES OR COMFORTS & BUFFET SWAMI VATSALYA IS CLEARLY A NO. FEED LESS BUT FEED PROPER WAY THATS WHAT ITS PREACHED.

If anyone hurt or something written against Jin aagya then Michchhami Dukkadam.

My Views ~ 1 at SMP

My Views on DISCUSSION 1 which was Nowadays many people feel that more temples should not be made & funds of that should be diverted to other good cause. WHAT YOU ALL THINK?? -Samir Doshi

First & foremost of all, I am a layman in Jainism & telling you my thoughts without reference to any books or technical knowledge. I do appreciate thoughts of all that we should be spending for Jivdaya, Resurrection & preservation of old temples, education, sadharmik seva etc but I dont understand why some people think that WE SHOULD STOP MAKING TEMPLES & DIVERT THAT FUNDS... why dont they think that WE SHOULD MAKE MORE TEMPLES & SHALL DO ALL ABOVE WITH MORE FUNDS. Believe me though we are a minority population, we are best in living standards & earners. Our religion teaches us to live simple, but we nowadays have entered into pomp show & spend unnecessarily in all things but when it comes to do good works then why we think of not making temples & using that fund only there?? Infact we should think that we shall spare some more money out for good deeds in addition to making temple. I am just narrating 2 examples which touched my life & thoughts & that have really happened in our Jain History:

EX1: Nrupsinh, son of King Kumarpal, was at his death bed in a very tender age with tears in his eyes. Acharya Hemchandrasurisverji Maharaj asked him why is he having tears when he is so brave & doing his Antim Aaradhna?? He replied that Guruvar my wishes didnt get fulfilled. My dad did lots of jivdaya, resurrection & made many temples all his life but all what he made is of stones. He said that I get pain that Our ultimate God & in temples of stone?? I had wished to make TEMPLES OF GOLD as I grow up & now that wish shall remain unfulfilled :(

Just think the thought process which we should have. King Kumarpal has done all Jivdaya, resurrection, chari palit sangh's temple's etc but then too his son wants to make TEMPLES of GOLD in addition to doing lot more good works than what my dad did.

THEN WHY CANT WE THINK OF HAVING MORE TEMPLES WITH GOOD WORKS TOO AND QUANTUM OF GOOD WORK WHAT SOME OF OUR PREDECESSORS DID IS SHOWN IN EX2 NOW

EX2: Vastupal & Tejpal had made 12 Chari Palit Sangh's in addition to all good works which i shall just try to mention but they never thought that they made many temples or resurrected many temples. Acharya Narchandrasurisverji had attained Kaldharm in that period but before that Acharyashri had told them that their time of death is near soon & do as much as good work as possible & so with thought of touching Palitana Kalyanak Bhumi they started their 13th CHARI PALIT SANGH but in between their health started detrimenting.

They didnt even knew what good works they did in their life & so they called their accountant to tell them about it so that they can do some more good work. In those period what they spent in good works is narrated below & is MORE THAN LACS X CRORES IF ITS NET PRESENT VALUE IS TAKEN OUT. Accountant said as follows:

- Spent 18,96,00,000 on Satrunjay Mahatirth, Palitana

- Spent 18,83,00,000 on Girnar Tirth

- Spent 12,53,00,000 on Abu Tirth

- Made 13013 New Temples

- Resurrected 23000 Temples

- Made 984 Posadhshala's

- Made 500 Vyakhyan Pitth's of Elephant teeths

- Made 500 Samavasrans carved of elephant teeth & costly things

- Spent 18,00,00,000 in Khambhat, Bharuch & Devpuri for help

- Spent 18,00,00,000 GOLD COINS in making SHASHTRA BOOKS from Gold Ink

- Spent in 21 occasions when Acharya Padvi was being given

- Every year 4 Swami Vatsalya's

- Unaccounted dravya in Gurupuja daily, 3 times Jin Puja & prabhavna in Pratikraman's.

As since King was follower of Lord Shiv, also had to spend in making following to get several sanctions for Jainism:

- Spent in making 2000 Shiv Temples

- Spent in making 700 Shiv Tapasvi Matth's

Also did following for entire HUMAN KIND:

- 700 Annsatra's

- 44 Big Dam's

- 84 Pasanbaddh Mahasarovar's

- 900 Wells & lacs of Water drinking units (Pani ni Parab)

- Daily Supatradan to 1500 Sadhu Sadhvi's

- Daily daan to more than thousand beggars & people in need

- Spent in making 64 Mosque's to maintain communal harmony

&

13 CHARI PALIT SANGH's to SATRUNJAY. Total spent 300,14,18,800.00 in those days & THEY FOUND THIS VERY VERY LESS.

SO MY OPINION IS ALWAYS TO HAVE TEMPLES & NEVER OPPOSE IT SIDE BY SIDE DOING JIVDAYA, RESURRECTION ETC AS THAT ALL IS ALSO THE NEED OF TIME BUT NEVER A "NO" TO BRING A NEW TEMPLE.
