Above snap depicts 3 events. 1st is that even Lord before sitting on throne revolves around the tree under which he obtained omniscience. BEFORE STARTING WITH ANYTHING, EVEN LORD GIVES RESPECT TO HIS OWN ESTABLISHED DHARM TIRTH ~ SHREE SANGH ~ BY FOLDING BOTH HANDS, BOWING & SAYING "NAMO TITTHASS".

In 2 snaps below it depicts that as lord leaves throne & goes to Dev Chhand, his chief disciple Guru Gautam gives out sermons. Guru Gautam doesnt sit at throne, he sits in a seat below that which show utmost respect towards Guru.

આ ચિત્રમાં ત્રણ પ્રસંગો બતાવ્યા છે. આ પ્રસંગ ભગવાન સિંહાસન ઉપર બેસતાં પહેલાં જે વૃક્ષ નીચે એમને બોધિ-કેવલજ્ઞાન ઉત્પન્ન થયું હોય તેનો આદર કરવા તેને પ્રદક્ષિણા આપે છે. ભગવાનને આ રીતે જોવા એ પણ એક લહાવો છે. પ્રદક્ષિણા આપ્યા પછી પ્રવચન આપે તે પહેલાં ભગવાન કૃતકૃત્ય હોવા છતાં પોતે જ સ્થાપેલા તીર્થનો આદર કરવા બે હાથ જોડી "નમો તિત્થસ્સ" બોલી શ્રીસંઘ-તીર્થને નમસ્કાર કરે છે.

નીચેનાં બે ચિત્રો-ત્રણ કલાકના પ્રવચન બાદ ભગવાન સિંહાસન ઉપરથી ઉઠીને દેવછંદમાં ચાલ્યા જાય.... તે પછી તેઓશ્રીના મુખ્ય શિષ્ય શ્રી ગૌતમસ્વામીજી પ્રવચન આપે છે. પણ ભગવાનની જગ્યાએ બેસીને નહીં પરંતુ શિષ્યના અધિકાર-મર્યાદા મુજબ સિંહાસનની આગળ રહેલ પાદપીઠ ઉપર અથવા લાવવામાં આવેલા આગળ મૂકેલા બીજા સિંહાસન ઉપર બેસીને પ્રવચન આપે છે.

PURUSHADANIYA PARSHVANATH PRABHU _/\_

Could not upload anything on blog from start of 2013 & so starting the Year 2013 blogging with a great info about our Purushadaniya Parshvanath Prabhu. If possible do take out your 5 Minutes.

=> At many point of times a question might have arose in our minds that Why is Lord Parshvanath's name most famous & most worshipped in present times?

And most simple, straight & smallest answer to it is ~ "He got "AADEY" Naam Karm due to immense Bhakti of Arihant Parmatma's on their respective Kalyanak's" & YES this is the correct answer BUT

=> Then a question comes that most of "Dev's (demi-God's)" do that then what did Lord Parshva did special & How??

Special was LORD PARSHVA in his previous birth celebrated 500 KALYANAK's by himself being present at Kalyanak Mahotsav.

Now this is what is new & awesome to know. In previous Birth of Lord Parshva, he was in Pranat Devlok i.e. from times of 13th Tirthankar Vimalnath Prabhu till 22nd Tirthankar Neminath Prabhu of this Bharat Kshetra i.e. 10 Tirthankar's.

There are 5 Bharat Kshetra's including this & 5 Airavat Kshetra's so total 10 Kshetra's & 10 Tirthankar's each in all Kshetra's so it means he was in devlok in times of 100 Tirthankar's {(5+5) X 10 each}. 5 Kalyanak's of every Tirthankar so therefore 100 X 5 i.e. 500 Kalyanak's. BUT

=> again a question arises that how could he attend all 500 Kalyanak's as some may have been overlapping each other?

As he was a dev, he used to multiply/clone himself & send a Pratirupp at the place of Kalyanak Mahotsav as in Dev's also there is code of conduct that 1st Abhisek is done by Indra's then Samanik Dev's etc i.e. as per their class.

So Parshva prabhu used to send his pratirupp everywhere which used to stand in queue & then when time of abhisekh used to come, he used to exchange his pratirupp with himself in Original as being a Dev he can travel in time less than blink of an eye. This way, unlike others who may have gone to one or two places or may have sent their pratirupp's, LORD PARSHVA USED TO BE PRESENT HIMSELF IN KALYANAK MAHOTSAV.

For Example at times of 10 Kalyanak's, Lord Parshva used to clone himself in 9 more & every clone used to stand in queue. Wherever turn was about to come in line, he exchanged his clone with himself in original & by this way celebrated all Kalyanak's BY BEING PRESENT HIMSELF.

ગોવાળિયાએ તીક્ષ્ણ કાષ્ઠશૂલ દ્વારા કરેલો ભયંકર કર્ણોપસર્ગ અને તેનું નિવારણ

Dangerous adversity done by the milkman in Lord's Ears ~ ગોવાળિયાએ તીક્ષ્ણ કાષ્ઠશૂલ દ્વારા કરેલો ભયંકર કર્ણોપસર્ગ અને તેનું નિવારણ

 

Once our Lord Mahavir was meditating in standing posture outside Chammani Village. A milkman came. With him were his oxen. He left them to graze and went back for some work. When he came back he found his oxen were not there & asked meditating Lord where his cows oxen were. Lord was busy meditating & so didnt even knew when oxen came & went to graze too but seeing no reply milkman became angry. He ran here & there searching for them & became mad with anger. He took thickest wood & made it pointed at one end. He inserted such wood deep in Lord's ears & not relieved he pushed it deep in with pressing by stones. Not relieved further, he cut down remaining portion of wood outside ear so that noone can take it out. But our Lord remained in his deep meditation & didnt even reacted to milkman out of so immense pain.

 

Lord thereafter reached at place of Siddharth Merchant at village Madhyama (Pava) in such condition only where his friend doctor named "Kharak" had came. Seeing Lord at his place, Siddharth merchant does bowings while Kharak sees such wood in ears of God & says about the same to Siddharth. They both prayed to Lord to allow them to take that wood out. They poured in very Hot Oil & pulled out those wood pieces from ears. JUST THINK WHAT PAIN OUR LORD WOULD HAD GONE THROUGH, BUT HE KEPT HIS GREAT CALM. Only once lord too gave in to deep pain & a shout came out. Lord understood that this all happened due to some mis-deeds of him in some birth & so just stayed calm. It shows that deeds never ever leaves anyone, not even lord.

ભગવાન જ્યારે છમ્માણિ ગામની બહાર કાયોત્સર્ગ મુદ્રામાં ધ્યાનસ્થ હતા ત્યારે સંધ્યાકાળે કોઈ ગોવાળિયો ભગવાનની પાસે બળદો મૂકીને ગામમાં ચાલ્યો ગયો. કામ કરીને પાછો આવ્યો ત્યારે બળદો ન જોતાં ભગવાનને પૂછ્યું, "દેવાર્ય! બળદો ક્યાં ગયા?" મૌની ભગવાને જવાબ ન આપતાં દુષ્ટ ગોવાળિયાએ ક્રોધાન્ધ બની કાસ (દાભ) નામના અતિ કઠણ ઘાસની અણીદાર શૂલો-સળીઓ પથ્થરથી ઠોકીને બન્ને કાનોમાં જોરથી ખોસી દીધી. તથા કોઈ તે કાઢી ન શકે એટલા માટે તેના બહારના ભાગને પણ કાપી નાંખ્યો. આવા દારુણ કષ્ટમાં પણ ભગવાન નિશ્ચલભાવે ધ્યાનરત જ રહ્યા અને કઠિન કર્મો ઓછાં કર્યાં. ત્યાંથી શલ્યસહિત ભગવાન મધ્યમા (પાવા) પધાર્યા અને ભિક્ષાર્થે સિદ્ધાર્થ વણિકના ઘરે પહોંચ્યા. તે વખતે તે `ખરક' નામના મિત્રવૈદ્ય સાથે વાતો કરતો હતો. ભગવાન પધારતાં તેણે વંદનપૂર્વક સ્વાગત કર્યું. એ વખતે ખરકે ભગવાનની મુખાકૃતિ ઉપરથી ભગવાનનાં શરીરમાં કંઈક શલ્ય છે એમ પારખી લીધું. પછી શરીર તપાસતાં કાનમાં દર્ભ-કાષ્ઠની શૂલો ખોસાયેલી જોઈ. સિદ્ધાર્થને વાત કરતાં તે કંપી ઊઠ્યો. તેણે કહ્યું કે "એ શલ્ય ને જલદી બહાર કાઢો અને પુણ્યના ભાગીદાર બનો." પછી ભગવાનને મુશ્કેલીથી સમજાવી, નસો ઢીલી કરવા તેલના કુંડામાં બેસાડ્યા. પછી ખૂબ માલિશ કર્યું. તે કર્યા બાદ કુશળપ્રયોગપૂર્વક સાણસીથી શૂલો ખેંચી કાઢી. તે વખતે ભયંકર વેદનાના કારણે ભગવાનથી કારમી ચીસ પડાઈ ગઈ. ગત જન્મમાં ભગવાનના જીવે અજ્ઞાનભાવે બાંધેલું પાપ-કર્મ અંતિમ ભવે પણ ઉદય આવ્યું. ખરેખર! કર્મ કોઈને છોડતું નથી અને નિકાચિત ભાવે બાંધેલું કર્મ ભોગવવું જ પડે છે.

 

કર્મસત્તાનો સિદ્ધાંત કેવો નિષ્પક્ષ અને અટલ છે! એની સચોટ પ્રતીતિ આ પ્રસંગ કરાવી જાય છે. અને "બંધસમય ચિત્ત ચેતીએ ઉદયે શો સંતાપ?" આ પદ્યપંક્તિનું પણ સ્મરણ મૂકી જાય છે.

અભિગ્રહ સમાપ્તિ-પ્રસંગે ચંદનબાલા દ્વારા અડદના બાકળાનું દાન અને દાનપ્રભાવ

Chandanbala's AHO DAAN to Lord Mahavir ~ અભિગ્રહ સમાપ્તિ-પ્રસંગે ચંદનબાલા દ્વારા અડદના બાકળાનું દાન અને દાનપ્રભાવ

In 12th Year of Diksha, Lord takes a very tough resolution about taking of Bhiksha with regard to food, area, time & several other thoughts. With regard to food item, he resolved to have black pulses that too lying at extreme end of utensil meant to clean pulses. With regard to area, he resolved that shall take food from person who offers it while one leg is inside house & other is outside. With regard to time, he resolved that it shall be taken at a time when all have taken Bhiksha i.e. after noon. He also further resolved that shall be taken from someone who is princess but have became servant by course of Time. Her head should had been beheaded & herself is tied in chains. She must be on 3 consecutive fasts (Athham Tapp) & must be crying.

 

after such great resolution which seemed to fail, Lord used to go to several houses to take Bhiksha but as so stiff conditions were not satisfied, he always returned empty & kept on fasting. Noone knew Lord's these stiff resolutions for taking Bhiksha & slowly steadily consecutive 5 MONTHS 25 DAYS passed with Lord continuing fasts. Finally once Lord reaches at Dhanavah Merchant's House where Chandanbala, daughter of King Dadhivahan has became servant due to some misdeeds. Wife of the merchant, who was jealous of so beautiful servant, kept her (Chandanbala) for without food for 3 days & beheaded her. She also kept her in chains. Merchant came to know this & he took her out & gave her black pulses to eat in the utensil meant to clean pulses itself.

 

She had habbit of eating after giving some Bhiksha so awaits at doorstep to offer to beggar but at that time Lord appears to take Bhiksha & sees all his resolution getting fulfilled except 1 that Chandanbala didnt had tears in her eyes. So Lord started to return, by seeing this Chandanbala breaks in tears as Lord didnt accept her Bhiksha. As tears rolled out, even last resolve of Lord is accomplieshed & so finally 5MONTHS 25DAYS fasts of Lord breaks by great Bhiksha of Chandanbala. With this all 5 auspicious things of a great Daan also happen with Sounds of AHO DAAN AHO DAAN from Dev's too.

દીર્ઘ તપસ્વી ભગવાને દીક્ષાના બારમાં વર્ષમાં કૌશામ્બી પધારી ભિક્ષા સંબંધી દ્રવ્ય, ક્ષેત્ર, કાલ, અને ભાવગર્ભિત વિવિધ બોલનો - પ્રકારનો ઘોર અભિગ્રહ કર્યો. દ્રવ્યથી-અડદ-બાકલા તે પણ સૂપડાના ખૂણામાં હોય તો જ લેવા. ક્ષેત્રથી-એક પગ ઉંબરામાં અને એક પગ બહાર રાખીને આપે તો જ વહોરવું. કાલથી-ભીક્ષાચરો ભિક્ષા લઈ ગયા પછીના સમયે મળે તો જ વહોરવું. ભાવથી-કોઈ રાજકુમારી અને તે દાસીપણાને પામી હોય, પગમાં બેડી નાંખેલી હોય, માથું મુંડાવેલી હોય, રડતી હોય, અઠ્ઠમનો તપ એટલે ત્રણ દિવસથી ભૂખી હોય, વળી તે પવિત્ર સતી સ્ત્રી હોય, તે વહોરાવે તો જ વહોરવું.

આવી પ્રતિજ્ઞા બાદ ભગવાન કૌશામ્બીમાં હંમેશાં ભિક્ષા માટે અનેકનાં ઘરે પધારે છે, પણ સૂચિત અભિગ્રહ પૂરો થતો નથી. લોકો આ દુઃશક્ય અભિગ્રહને જાણતા ન હોવાથી ખૂબ ચિંતાતુર રહે છે. આમ કરતાં પાંચ મહિના અને પચીસ દિવસ પસાર થયા ત્યારે, નિત્યનિયમ મુજબ ભગવાન ભિક્ષાર્થે ધનાવહ શેઠને ત્યાં પધાર્યા. તે સમયે એવું બનેલું કે ચંપાપતિ રાજા દધિવાહનની પુત્રી ચંદનબાળાને પાપોદયે વેચાવાનો વખત આવ્યો. ધનાવહે તેને ખરીદી. પાછળથી શેઠની પત્ની મૂલાંને તેના પર અતિઈર્ષ્યા થતાં, જાણીજોઈને છૂપી રીતે તેનું માથું મૂંડાવી, પગમાં બેડી નાંખી, તેને ભોંયરામાં પૂરી દીધી. ત્રણ દિવસ બાદ શેઠને ખબર પડતાં એને બહાર કાઢી. શેઠે સૂપડાના ખૂણામાં અડદના બાકલા ખાવા આપ્યા. તે લઈને ઉંબરા ઉપર ઊભીને, દાન માટે કોઈ ભિક્ષુની રાહ જોતી હતી ત્યાં ખુદ કરપાત્રી ભગવાનનું પધારવું થયું.

ભગવાને પોતાના સ્વીકૃત અભિગ્રહમાં માત્ર આંસુની ખામી જોઈ તેઓ ત્યાંથી પાછા ફર્યા. ભગવાન જેવા ભગવાન ઘરે પધાર્યા અને પાછા ફર્યા તેનો તીવ્ર આઘાત લાગતાં બાલાચંદના રડી પડી. રુદનનો અવાજ સાંભળીને ભગવાન પાછા ફર્યા. બે હાથ પસારીને ચંદનાની ભિક્ષા સ્વીકારી. દાન પ્રભાવે પાંચ દિવ્યો પ્રગટ થયાં. ધન્ય ચંદના! ધન્ય દાન!

Lord Mahavir did travel in locations where people didnt even knew what a Monk is & once reached Polash. There Lord started Mahapratima Tapp of 3 consecutive fasts on a rock in a standing posture. Lord was so involved in his meditation that even Indra was appreciating god's deep meditation & tapp in his Palace amongst all other Dev's & while appreciating said that "Noone can win over Lord Mahavir in Meditation, Courage, Patience, Steadiness etc & no human's or even dev's have caliber to move Lord Mahavir from his meditation". Sangam dev couldnt hear this as it hurt his ego so challenged to Indra that he shall make Lord Mahavir move.

Immediately Sangam dev comes up where Lord was meditating & started dangerously devastating adversities on Lord which included in several forms by sending evil spirit, elephant, Lion, Snake, Scorpion, Celestial Women etc & didnt stop only there but cooked food by firing fire in between legs of the Lord so that heat penetrates & Lord Mahavir moves. But its our LORD MAHAVIR, he didnt break away from meditation nor moved an inch EVEN AFTER DANGEROUSLY DEVASTATING 20 ADVERSITIES created by Sangam Dev & finally Sangam Dev was self defeated & went back.

કઠિન કર્મોનો ક્ષય કરવા ભગવાને મ્લેચ્છોથી સભર અને સાધુ-સંતોથી તદ્દન અજ્ઞાત એવી પ્રજાવાળી ભૂમિને પસંદ કરી. વિહાર કરતા તેઓશ્રી દૃઢભૂમિના પોલાસ ચૈત્યમાં પહોંચ્યા. ત્યાં ત્રણ દિવસના ઉપવાસ કરી, નિર્જીવ શિલા ઉપર જરા અવનત દેહે જિનમુદ્રાપૂર્વક ઊભા રહી `મહાપ્રતિમા' નામનું તપ આદર્યું. ચિત્તને સ્થિર કરી નિર્નિમેષ દૃષ્ટિથી આખી રાત એક અચિત્ત પુદ્ગલ સ્કંધ ઉપર જ ધ્યાન સ્થિર કર્યું. મહાવીરના અડગ અને અણનમ ધ્યાનને ઇન્દ્રે જ્ઞાનથી જાણીને પોતાની દેવસભામાં પ્રશંસા કરતાં કહ્યું કે "ધ્યાન અને ધૈર્યમાં ભગવાન મહાવીરની તોલે કોઈ આવે નહિ. મનુષ્યો તો શું, દેવ પણ તેમને ચલિત કરી શકે નહિ." આ પ્રશંસા તેજોદ્વેષી સુરાધમ સંગમદેવથી સહન ન થઈ શકી, એણે કહ્યું કે "માનવીમાં આ સામર્થ્યનો કદી સંભવ જ નથી તેની હું હમણાં જ ખાતરી કરાવી આપું." 

 

તે પછી તરત જ ભગવાનને ધ્યાનથી ચલિત કરવા શીઘ્ર દોડી આવ્યો. એક રાતમાં પિશાચ, હાથી, વાઘ, સાપ અને વીંછીના ઉગ્ર ઉપદ્રવો તથા પગ વચ્ચે અગ્નિ સળગાવીને તેના પર રસોઈ કરવી, અપ્સરાના હાવભાવપૂર્વકનાં પ્રલોભનો, કાલચક્ર પ્રક્ષેપ આદિ પ્રતિકૂળ-અનુકૂળ એવા વિવિધ વીસ ભયંકર, ત્રાસજનક ઉપસર્ગો કર્યા પણ ધીર-વીર એવા ભગવાન તલમાત્ર પણ ક્ષુબ્ધ ન થતાં સર્વથા નિશ્ચલ રહી કસોટીમાંથી પાર ઊતર્યા. આખરે સંગમદેવ થાક્યો અને હારીને રવાના થઈ ગયો.

સુદંષ્ટ્ર નાગકુમાર દેવનો નૌકાદ્વારા જલોપસર્ગ ~ Adversities to Lord Mahavir by Demi God Sundrashtra

While travelling from Surbhipur to Rajgruhi, Lord had to cross River Ganga by a boat accompanied by many other people.  As soon as boat reached in middle amidst deep water, Demi God Sundrashtra saw that in Last Birth when Lord Mahavir was Vasudev then he had killed a Lion (now demi god himself). So he gets terrible anger & creates adversities to Lord Mahavir by suddenly raising very strong high tides & strong winds by his demi-god powers. Boat  started shaking terribly & all people on boat started crying for Help. All people started to remember their God's for saving them but only one person, our Lord Mahavir, was sitting in his own meditation without getting a single fear. Some other demi-god's named Kambal-Shambal saw Lord travelling in that boat & came to know such act of another Demi God Sundrashtra. Immediately they fought him out & made everything calm again. Boat landed safe at other Bank & all travellers onboard felt that they were saved just cause of Lord Mahavir & moved forward after taking blessings from Lord.

સુરભિપુરથી રાજગૃહ જતાં વચમાં આવતી ગંગા નદી પાર કરવા ભગવાન નાવમાં બેઠા. એમાં બીજા પણ અનેક લોકો બેઠા. તે બરાબર ઊંડા જલ પાસે પહોંચી કે અચાનક પાતાલવાસી સુદૃંષ્ટ્ર નામના નાગકુમાર દેવે જ્ઞાનથી જાણ્યું કે `અહો! આ મહાવીર ગત જન્મમાં વાસુદેવના ભવમાં હતા અને હું સિંહના ભવમાં હતો ત્યારે આ વાસુદેવે મારું મોઢું ચીરી મને જાનથી મારી નાંખ્યો હતો.' તેથી તેની વૈરવૃત્તિ જાગી ઉઠી. તે બદલો લેવા દોડી આવ્યો. આવીને તેણે પોતાની દિવ્ય શક્તિથી ભયંકર તોફાન ઊભુ કર્યું. તેણે પ્રારંભમાં મહાપવનને વિકુર્વ્યો. ગંગાનાં નીર હિલોળે ચઢ્યાં, નાવ આમ તેમ ઝોલાં ખાતી ઊછળવા લાગી. સહુને માથે મોત ભમતું દેખાયું, ગભરાટ વધી ગયો, હો હા થઈ પડી, `બચાવો બચાવો' ની બૂમાબૂમ થવા માંડી. બચવા માટે સહું ઇષ્ટદેવનું સ્મરણ કરવા લાગ્યા. આવા પ્રસંગમાં પણ ભગવાન તો નિશ્ચલ ભાવથી ધ્યાનમાં જ મગ્ન બેઠા હતા. આ તોફાનની જાણ જ્ઞાનથી કંબલ-શંબલ નામના નાગદેવોને થતાં તેઓ તુરંત આવી પહોંચ્યા. આવીને તેમણે સુદૃંષ્ટ્રદેવને ધૂત્કારી હાંકી કાઢ્યો. તોફાન શમી ગયું અને નાવ હેમખેમ કિનારે પહોંચી. ખરેખર! આ મહાન આત્માના જ પુણ્યપ્રભાવે આપણા સહુની રક્ષા થઈ છે એમ સમજીને તમામ પ્રવાસીઓએ ભગવાનને ભાવભીની વંદના કરી હાર્દિક આભાર માન્યો.

ચિત્રમાં પાણીના પ્રવાહમાં જ નૌકા નીચે સુદૃંષ્ટ્રદેવ નૌકાને ઊથલાવતો બતાવ્યો છે. ઉપર આપણી ડાબી બાજુએ ખૂણામાં રક્ષા કરવા આવી રહેલા કંબલ-શંબલ દેવો બતાવ્યા છે.

સંબધના નામ

એમજ કારણવિના કોઇને કંઇ મળાતુ નથી,

સગપણ સંબધના નામ વગર રખાતુ નથી,

જો સમજવા છે સમજી લો સમય દરમીયાન,

સંકોચમાં વેડફેલી પળોને પાછુ લવાતુ નથી,

બોલ્યા કર્યુ સમજણ વીના,તો પણ કહેવુ હતુ,

નામ આપો અમને નામ પાડતા આવડતુ નથી,

હજી પણ સાંભળવા ‘ના’ ‘હા’ ની જુઓ છો રાહ,

એમ તો વણ બોલ્યે કોઇને કશુ સમજાતુ નથી,

હોઠોને બીડી ચુપચાપ છો વિચારોમાં તલ્લીન,

યાદોની હરોળે ચડ્યા બાદ ઝલ્દી હટાતુ નથી,

મગજથી કામ ના લેતા, લઇ લો કામ હ્રદયથી,

હ્રદયથી કરેલુ નામકરણ ક્યારેય ભુસાતુ નથી...

दास्तां कहते गये कतरा कतरा,
सीतम सहते गये कतरा कतरा,

महेफिले रोशन थी आने से,
चीराग बुज गये कतरा कतरा,

कुछ कमी न थी शानेसौकतमे,
मनसुबे ढह गये कतरा कतरा,

वादे पे उनके नाज था जीसको,
कफन औढ सो गये कतरा कतरा,

मुश्कीलसे सजाया आंखोमे उसे,
आंसु बन बह गये कतरा कतरा,

गुनाह किया था चाहने का उससे,
सजा भोगते ही गये कतरा कतरा,

दस्तुर था समीर भुल जानेका उसका,
पर यादोमें सताते गये कतरा कतरा ।
